¿What is xt660r.info?
xt660r.info is aimed to gather all interesting info we can get about the Yamaha XT660R motorcycle.
A word of advice: english is not my native language so you may find a certain amount of broken english here and there arround this site. Sorry for the inconvenience.
¿Who's created this?
xt660x.info is an asun&eloy, freelance web developers initiative. We are exploring new markets and activities, while mixing work (web developement) with pleasure (bikes).
In particular, Eloy is webmastering this project.
¿Why?
I like love motorcycles. So is very usual for me to read articles, visits related websites, search forums and all kinds of sources of info about bikes.
During all this years of hobby I have found that is very usual that people can't find info that is already on the web, more or less scattered arround diverse sources, and how often people re-ask the same questions at forums (and get some "search the forums!" responses) and also that information tends to sink at the bottom of threads. Typical "I remember somebody wrote a post about that thing but I can't find it! It's gone".
So my idea is to gather all that info (as much as possible at least) at a single site (this), always triying not to get in troubles with copyrights and all that; or at least having a brief explanation and a link to the original site/forum threads.
What about it's brother sites?
Well, xt660.info domain wasn't free at the time we started this, so why not buy one for each bike versión?
